Sindh

Following services are available to flood affectees in Sindh.

1. Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Sindh

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Sindh is a body operating under the Government of Sindh responsible for disaster management, relief, rescue, and rehabilitation. If you are a flood victim based in Sindh and in need of assistance, you can contact PDMA on the following numbers

If you need any health assistance, you can contact Sindh Health Department’s helpline on 1025 or you can find the contact information of your district health office from this list.

3. Child Protection Authority, Sindh

If children around you are facing harassment or abuse – which could be of any nature – like child labor, child sexual abuse, forced or underage marriages or if there is an orphan kid in need of safe environment and protection, you contact Child Protection Authority, Sindh on

4. Women Complaint Cell

If you are a woman facing domestic abuse or any kind of difficulty, you can reach out to Women Complaint Cell of Women Development Department of Government of Sindh on their helpline 1094. Or you can lodge your complaint online on Women Development Department’s website.

You can also seek assistance from Women Development Department if you want to learn any skill or start your own small business to help sustain your family.

5. Sindh Rural Support Organization 

Sindh Rural Support Organization (SSRO) is working on providing relief and rehabilitation to flood affectees in Sindh. Besides flood relief activities, SSRO runs different programs in Sindh related to poverty alleviation and microfinancing.

Punjab

1. Punjab Emergency Service - Rescue 1122

Rescue 1122 is an emergency response service present in all districts of Punjab. The service provides emergency rescue services in case of any natural disaster, fire, accidents, or any other situation that needs a rapid response. The service provides first aid and ambulance service as well. If you need assistance, you can contact them directly by dialing 1122 from your phone.

2. PDMA Punjab 1129

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab is an authority under the Government of the Punjab responsible for disaster risk reduction, management, relief, and rehabilitation. If you are in the flood affected areas of Punjab, you can contact PDMA Punjab by dialing 1129 from your phone.

3. Commissioner Offices, Punjab

Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner (DC) are responsible for overlooking administrative issues in their respective divisions and districts. They are also responsible to provide relief and rehabilitation services to disaster struck population on behalf of the provincial government. If you are facing any issue with getting the relief fund announced by the Government of Punjab for people in flood-stricken areas, you can contact your DC offices.

4. Chief Minister Punjab Complaint Cell

If you are facing any difficulty in receiving relief goods, you can register a complaint online on Chief Minister’s Office Complaint Cell online or you can call on 0800-02345 to register your complaint through phone.

5. Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department/ District Health Authorities

If you are living in a flood affected area and you are experiencing any disease outbreak in your area like malaria, dengue, TB, or cholera. Or if you have missed your child’s vaccination due to floods, you can contact Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab on their Healthline 1033 or 0800-99000.

6. Sehat Sahulat Program – Information and Complaints

All permanent residents of Punjab are eligible for Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card under the Sehat Sahulat Program. Under the program, families can get free health care at the empaneled hospitals. 7. Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Punjab

You can contact Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab to get help for children around you who are facing abuse or harassment which could be physical torture or abuse, sexual abuse, forced and underage marriage or underage labor. Or if an orphan kid around you needs protection or help. The helpline number of the bureau is 042-1121.

8. Women Development Department, Punjab

If you are facing any kind of domestic abuse or harassment, discrimination or are denied your right in property you can reach out to Women Development Department, Punjab through their helpline 1043 to get protection or free legal aid. Women Development Department also provides skill development opportunities to women.

Balochistan

Following services are available to flood affectees in Balochistan,

1. Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Balochistan

PDMA is controlled by the Government of Balochistan and is responsible for responsible for disaster risk reduction, management, relief, and rehabilitation. If you are in flood affected areas of Balochistan and need any kind of assistance, you can contact PDMA Balochistan’s control room on the following number, 081-9241133.

2. Medical Emergency Response Center (MERC) Balochistan

Medical Emergency Response Center (MERC) is a medical emergency response service operated by the Government of Balochistan. If you need any emergency medical assistance, you can contact MERC by dialing 1122 from your phone.

3. Chief Minister Complaint Cell

Chief Minister of Balochistan has setup a complaint cell to address the grievances of citizens of Balochistan. If you have not received relief goods or the local authorities are not cooperative in providing relief and rehabilitation items, you can contact Chief Minister Complaint Cell on the following numbers,

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Following services are available in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for flood affectees

1. Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an authority under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa responsible for disaster risk reduction, management, relief, and rehabilitation. 2. Rescue 1122

Rescue 1122 is an emergency response service available in all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. If there is any natural disaster, medical emergency, a fire has broken out or an accident has happened, you can call Rescue 1122 by dialing 1122 from your phone.

3. Deputy Commissioner Offices Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Deputy Commissioners are representatives of provincial government in their respective districts, who are responsible for implementation of provincial government’s programs for flood affectees in their areas.
